ANZAC Centenary Event – 19th April
Lake Macquarie City Council and Toronto RSL have organised a public commemoration in Speers Point Park on Sunday, 19th April for the centenary of the Gallipoli landing. There is an official ceremony at 10am and the activities will continue until 2pm. It should be a great day out for the whole family. Any youth members who attend should visit the Lake Macquarie City Scout’s stand and pick up a pass that counts towards your Their Service Our Heritage award.
