Joey Scouts is the first Section of Scouts, for boys and girls aged *5 – 8. The emphasis is on fun and friendship, and a gentle introduction to a world of challenges and adventures through Scouting. (*5 yo Joeys must be enrolled in full time school)
Joeys is run each Wednesday during school terms from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

We are currently seeking volunteer Joey Leaders to support our youth program delivery.
- Joeys are encouraged to express themselves creatively through games, stories and craft activities.
- Joeys are taught to jump in and help other people and to share with their friends.
More than anything, Joeys is about having fun!
- Every activity is designed to ensure that the Joey goes home happy and fulfilled from their time as part of the Mob. It’s for active boys and girls who like having fun and making friends.
Joey Scouts also work towards achieving their own Challenge Badges, which are predominantly based on participation rather than ability.
