Welcome to 1st Warners Bay Scouts<\/h2>\n

It is great\u00a0that you are\u00a0making the\u00a0decision to have your child join the Scouting Movement. 1st<\/sup> Warners Bay Scout Group is a great choice.\u00a0 We are an active group catering for every section of scouting from Joeys<\/a>, Cubs<\/a>, Scouts <\/a>& Venturers <\/a>through to Rovers who operate from our grounds.\u00a0 All the relevant documentation is attached and a brief interview will be arranged for you to go through the papers with myself or the Section Leader.<\/p>\n

Your child will then attend their section meetings for 4\u20106 weeks before being \u201cinvested\u201d \u2010\u00a0 when they will get the badges and scarf for the uniform. During that time, they will gain an understanding of the Scout Law & Promise and how their Section operates. \u00a0Parents are usually advised of the \u201cInvestiture Ceremony\u201d, so you can organise a shirt and be present and photos can be taken. \u00a0Please be aware that the Y1 and M5 forms need to be completed, as well as insurance and enrolment fees to be paid for, before\u00a0the investiture can\u00a0take place.<\/p>\n

Your child will discover that Scouts DO THEIR BEST to live by the SCOUT LAW & PROMISE, and that our group sectional programs run by our leaders are second to none. \u2026<\/p>\n
