A shirt is all that makes up the basic Scout uniform. These items can be purchased from Scoutshop stores or on-line at Scout Shop or 2nd<\/sup> hand on Gumtree etc. \u00a0\u00a0Scarves and badges are provided at no cost on investiture.<\/p>\n

Long pants\/cargo shorts\/skirts etc:\u00a0 dark blue is preferred and all sections are expected to have a hat for outside activities, preferably wide brim. Covered in shoes must be worn at all times (including water activities etc.)<\/p>\n

UNIFORM \u2026.. TAKE CARE OF IT\u2026.\u00a0 keep it clean & neat and WEAR IT WITH PRIDE.<\/p>\n

Cost<\/h2>\n

  • Scout Association Joining Fee $50 (for new members only)<\/li>\n
  • Term Subs fees are $25 per term<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Payments can only be made by Cash or Cheques to be made out to 1st\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0 Rathmines\u00a0Scout Group.<\/p>\n

    What to bring for meeting nights<\/h2>\n

    For the comfort, fun and safety of our youth members please ensure the\u00a0following items come with your child each week.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0Joeys & Cubs<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Wearing uniform, which includes scarf.<\/li>\n
    2. Spare shirt for when activities could damage Scout Shirt<\/li>\n
    3. Wide brimmed hat if doing outdoor activities<\/li>\n
    4. Water bottle, but we do have a bubbler.<\/li>\n
    5. Record Book<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Scouts & Venturers<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. As above, plus.<\/li>\n
      2. Notepad & Pen\/Pencil<\/li>\n
      3. Multi Tool is optional<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        This gear should be kept and transported in a suitable backpack that can\u00a0also be used for day hikes. Our local camping stores at Warners Bay and Boolaroo normally give a scout discount on purchases made by scouts, So if you don\u2019t have one this could be a good Christmas or birthday gift.<\/p>\n
